A building permit is necessary in Northport Village prior to the commencement of most types of construction projects, small or large.

The first step toward obtaining a building permit from the Northport Village Department of Housing and Code Compliance is to print out and read and/or fill out every page in the Building Permit Packet.

If you are unable to view and/or print it the entire packet, you may come to Village Hall where you will be provided one. Village Hall is located at 224 Main Street and can be reached by phone at 261-7502.
